Frequently Asked Questions for Vacation Rentals


What are your hours?
We are open Monday through Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-2pm. 

How do I make a rental reservation?
You can reserve your rental by contacting us in person, by telephone or over the Internet. Once you contact us, we contact the property owner to verify availability. Once verbally confirmed, a Lease Agreement will be drawn up and sent to you. You will then send back the signed Lease Agreement with your initial payment and the Lease Agreement will be forwarded to the owner to be executed. Once the Lease Agreement has been signed by both you and the owner, a copy will be sent to you for your records. You will then need to send your scheduled payments which are found on Page 1 of the Lease Agreement.

When is check-in & check-out?
Unless otherwise specified on your Lease Agreement, you may check-in anytime between 1:30pm and 5:00pm. If you will be arriving in Sea Isle City after 5:00pm, and your balance is paid in full, you may make special arrangements with your agent. The day of check-out, keys must be returned to our office no later than 10:00am. There are NO EXCEPTIONS.

Can I check-in early?
You may check-in anytime between 1:30pm and 5:00pm, there are NO EXCEPTIONS.

What is the check-in procedure?
On the day of check-in, you will need to come to our office at 4401 Landis Avenue. If there is an unpaid balance, we will collect it at that time. Once paid in full, you will be given two sets of keys as well as a Welcome Bag with local menus, coupons & fun stuff. Your vacation will then begin!

How do I make a payment on my rental?
We are now accepting credit and debit cards for lease payments. We can accommodate your bank debit card and Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. PLEASE NOTE: A PROCESSING FEE OF 3% OF THE AMOUNT PAID BY CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED FOR ALL SUCH PAYMENTS.
Following the payment schedule on your Lease Agreement, you may send your payment in the form of personal check, money order or certified bank check. You may also make a cash payment in person, please do not send cash in the mail. We are not able to accept a personal check two weeks (14 days) prior to your check in date, at that time payment can only be in the form of a money order, certified bank check or cash.

What if I have an unpaid balance at check-in?
Payments at check-in will only be accepted in the form of money order, certified bank check or cash. We CANNOT accept personal checks at check-in. No keys will be given unless the balance has been paid in full. There are NO EXCEPTIONS.

Do you have any pet-friendly rentals?
We do have some owners who will allow pets. You are able to search this amenity on our rental search page, or you can call and speak with an agent directly for a more detailed search.

Do you have any group rentals?
We do have some owners who will allow groups. You are able to search group rentals on our rental search page, or you can call and speak with an agent directly.

What will I need to bring for my vacation?
You will need to provide linens and towels. You can find the bed sizes on your Lease Agreement. If you would like to rent linens, please call your agent for recommendations. 

Are beach tags provided? Where can I purchase beach tags?
No, beach tags are not provided. Some owners MAY provide them as a courtesy, if so, please be sure to leave them for the next tenants. You can purchase your beach tags at the entrance to the beach from a beach tagger or you can go to the beach tag office at 300 JFK Blvd. Please note that children under 12 are free.

What cleaning is expected of me at check-out?
All rentals are inspected by the owner or their service before & after every tenant. You are required to leave the property in clean condition when you check-out. This includes removing all trash and recycling, emptying & wiping out the refrigerator, sweeping & vacuuming, wiping down the kitchen & bathrooms, and removing all personal items. Please see the cleaning clause on the Lease Agreement for more detailed information.

Is telephone service included?
Some rental properties do include telephone service (local only), be sure to check the amenity section if telephone service is something that you will need during your vacation.

Is Internet service provided?
Some rental properties do include Internet access. Be sure to check the amenity section if Internet access is something that you will need during your vacation. If a property does not offer Internet access, the local library has a free wireless hotspot.

What is vacation rental damage protection?
Instead of paying the traditional security deposit ($500.00 minimum), you can opt to pay a one-time fee of $50.00 and cover any accidental damages to the rental property up to $1,500.00. This coverage is offered by CSA Travel Protection and additional information can be found on our website.

How is my security deposit handled?
We strongly encourage tenants to take advantage of the vacation rental damage protection. If you opt for the traditional security deposit, it will be held in a non-interest bearing account and returned to you within 30 days after the date of check-out unless the Landlord notifies us within seven (7) days of any damages.

How can I reserve for next year?
If you would like to reserve the same property for the following year, it is recommended that you notify us during your stay or at check-out. We will supply you with a reservation form upon check-in or you can pick one up in our office. All reservations are subject to the owner's approval and pricing.

What if I forgot an item in the rental property after I checked-out?
We will make every attempt to locate and return your item in a timely manner. In the event it is not found, we cannot be responsible for any items that have been left behind.
